Management Skills
Moves participants beyond technical accounting and auditing skills, and focuses on the critical leadership, management and professional skills required for those currently in — and those moving into — managerial positions at the firm.
Experienced InCharge
Instructs audit professionals how to build on their base of technical knowledge into the critical areas of supervising multiple engagements, leadership, mentoring, & client service.
Beginning InCharge
Prepares auditors to assume more responsibility on engagements, including techniques to be successful in supervising staff and overall engagement management. Includes discussions on planning, budgeting, client collaboration, self management, performing substantive analytical reviews procedures and completing the engagement.
Experienced Staff
Enhances auditors’ skills so that they are able to audit the more complex issues in accounts receivable, inventory, and accounts payable. This class also discusses the experienced staff member’s role in audit planning, including understanding the entity, internal controls and risk assessment.
New Hire
Introduces to professionals new to public accounting the keys to success in auditing. The training includes an overview of the entire audit process and guidance on how to achieve the audit objectives for the areas commonly assigned to newer staff.
